We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage - Technologies Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with security, access control, audiovisual, network cabling, and other low voltage technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics, and coaxial.

  • Set up and configure access control, security, fire alarm, and surveillance systems.

  • Install and troubleshoot audiovisual and structured cabling systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards and local codes.

  • Perform system inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.

  • Work independently or with a team to complete projects efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

  • Adhere to all safety and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in low voltage installation.

  • Experience with access control, security systems, and structured cabling.

  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with low voltage systems.

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as BICSI, NEC, and NFPA codes.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications in low voltage technologies (BICSI, NICET, or equivalent).

  • Experience with fiber optic cabling and termination.

  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and IT systems.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
