We are looking for a Multi-skilled Welder position on assembly team:
We are looking for a skilled person for our assembly department. The right person has welding experience, as well as other assembly skills or potential ... eg electrical assembly, hydraulics, machine operation, painting etc.
The ideal candidate would exhibit the following traits: a) has outstanding mechanical aptitude, and likes to work with their hands, b) experienced in MIG type welding c) works and communicates well with teammates and in a team environment d) can accomplish and lead tasks efficiently e) is willing to learn, f) exhibits and communicates a positive attitude.
We are looking for some experience in a manufacturing and/ or metal forming environment, with the following specific skills:
· Possesses a strong team orientation, and works well with others.
- Has tremendous individual skills, a strong work ethic, and is impressive with his/her individual work abilities.
· Possesses Strong Basic Welding skills
o at least 2 years plus welding experience and some MIG welding experience
o Leak proof welds (eg flange/tank welding)
o Will need to pass a basic Welding Test
· Needs to be ok with Grind & Cleanup work, Lifting and other “grunt work” from time to time
· Experience with Use of Cranes, Plasma Cutting
· Ability to maintain inventories of key parts and components on a timely basis, and learn to understand order cycles so as to never go out of stock
· Contribute ideas to improve product quality or efficiency
· Familiar with implementing quality procedures
· Familiarity with metal forming and machining are also pluses
