The warehouse associate is responsible for accurately processing orders for pickup and delivering in a timely manner while maintaining a neat and organized warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, showroom, and property along with contributing to a positive customer experience.
Compensation: $19.00 hourly
Responsibilities: - Follow tasks and instructions provided by the manager.
- Prepare work orders and pickups for the day, including preparing the exact yardage of material.
- Deliver orders to customers or other company warehouses with safety and care in mind.
- Appropriately display and maintain all materials.
- Maintain stock samples.
- Appropriately dispose of materials.
- General maintenance of building and property, including but not limited to: lawn maintenance, snow removal, and basic landscaping.
- General custodial responsibilities.
Qualifications: - Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Basic math skills.
- Good computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work will be performed inside and outside of the warehouse and store.
- Work will be performed off-site at customer location(s).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ergonomic factors: lifting and lowering heavy items, bending, reaching overhead, repetitive motions, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.
- Climbing Ladders
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds without restrictions.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Travel will be required to customers’ homes or other store locations using a company vehicle.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Forklift certification
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field/work experience.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Unrestricted drivers license

- Eligible to work in the United States
