Wallbanger Academy is looking for a talented Video Editor with at least one year of experience to join our growing creative team. You’ll be responsible for editing a variety of video content from online courses and tutorials to promotional and social media clips. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of pacing, and a passion for storytelling through video.
Edit and assemble recorded footage into polished, engaging final videos.
Add motion graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance visual storytelling.
Collaborate with content creators, instructors, and marketing teams to meet project goals.
Maintain brand consistency across all video projects.
Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Optimize videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Stay current with editing trends and emerging creative techniques.
1+ year of professional video editing experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics software (After Effects preferred).
Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Ability to take creative direction and work independently in a remote setting.
Experience with sound design and color grading.
Knowledge of social media content strategies.
Familiarity with educational or e-learning content.
Creative problem-solving and storytelling ability.
