\nRadiation Therapist
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 30-minute lunch included
\n• 16 hours of orientation required
\n• ARRT certification, state license, and BLS certification required
\n• Epic EMR experience preferred
\n• Must be willing to float to other units within the health system based on census needs
\n• Work with patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Perform external beam therapy, IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and other radiation treatments
\n• Operate various equipment including TrueBeam, Varian systems, CT simulation, and imaging technology
\n• Provide patient care including custom molds, field shaping, tumor localization, and patient/family teaching
\n• Handle emergency cases and work with crash cart and defibrillator as needed
\n• Complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
\n• Modules are billable up to 16 hours and completed annually
\n• Must maintain radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions
