ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 0.9 night shifts with flexible scheduling
\n• Float between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles as required
\n• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1-1:3 for holding Peds or SAC status patients
\n• Weekends required as needed by the unit
\n• On call/call back responsibilities as needed
\n• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation
\n• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
\n• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard protocols
\n• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
\n• Meet patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout care episodes
\n• Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards
\n• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience required with minimum two years current experience in 12+ bed PICU
\n• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
\n• Pediatric CVICU experience preferred
\n• Epic EMR experience preferred
\n• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required
\n• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required
\n• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
\n• BLS and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
\n• Must be team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment
