LanceSoft is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a travel job in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements:

• Start Date: ASAP (within 4 weeks of offer)
• Experience Required: 2 years
• Required Certifications: BLS, CFA (CSFA or SA-C accepted in lieu of CFA)
• Preferred Certification: CST
• Shift: 3x12s Days
• Call: Yes — every 3rd–4th night; every 2nd–3rd weekend

Surgical First Assist Skills

• Starting peripheral IVs*
• Suturing all wound layers, including muscle and fascia
• Tying/ligating clamped vessels or tissues
• Wound dressing (liquid or spray occlusive)
