Job Description

As part of the U.S. Client Marketing team, the Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for deepening client relationships through the sell-in and delivery of marketing services for clients, including merchants, cobrand partners, and payment ecosystem stakeholders. The Sr. Marketing Manager will be a seasoned individual contributor supporting a variety of clients at various stages of relationship and engagement development. The individual will work with external and internal teams to deliver B2C and B2B marketing programs and advisory services that are designed to grow our client’s business and drive incremental revenue.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Services Business Development, Marketing Services Delivery, and cross-functional business partners to develop and present marketing strategy recommendations designed to drive payments spend and card usage.
  • Lead cross-functional team of stakeholders with the responsibility to improve client experience and reduce Marketing Services’ costs to deliver.
  • Serve as a payment marketing subject matter expert/advisor/consultant on behalf of Clients (e.g., merchants, issuers, fintech, and processors).
  • Identify and develop scalable marketing frameworks to improve speed to market, ensure work product is consistent, delivered efficiently, and executed flawlessly.
  • Provide marketing thought leadership and expert project management skills to develop and implement marketing programs on behalf of clients (e.g., research & insights, marketing strategy, campaign development, campaign delivery & optimization, and campaign measurement).
  • Serve as Marketing Services Delivery escalation point of contact and own resolution of delivery issues for Clients/stakeholders.
  • Nurture, grow, and deepen client relationships; establish U.S. Client Marketing as the preferred marketing partner of choice among our clients.

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of work experience in a marketing capacity.
  • Authority in multiple marketing disciplines, including brand, product, direct response, research, content, social, influencer, sponsorship, and events.
  • Deep payments knowledge and understanding of market dynamics in the areas of consumer/small business; prepaid, debit, credit, and commercial payments.
  • Accomplished at building trusted relationships with cross-functional team members, key stakeholders, business leaders, and clients.
  • Ability to structure, manage and coordinate complex projects across multiple internal/external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Organized, with a natural inclination for both strategic and tactical deliverables.
  • Aptitude to think creatively, identifying new and innovative ways of organizing resources and prioritizing work leading to tangible business results.
  • Ability to work with limited direction, usually within a complex and ambiguous environment to drive fact-based recommendations, solutions, and decisions.
  • Leadership experience working in agency and/or consulting roles involving the development and delivery of comprehensive, multi-channel marketing programs.
  • Strong executive presence; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience engaging with Executive and C-level suite audiences.

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
