Role Overview:

Could you be our next Sports and Event Marketing Intern? We are currently seeking an intern to support our Globe Life Sports Marketing and Travel & Event Marketing Teams for Summer 2026!

In this internship role, you will learn the various facets of working in a corporate Marketing environment. You will assist with all facets of the event planning process for multiple small to mid-sized meetings or events and will attend an event in person as onsite support. You will assist in the planning and executing of Sports Marketing advertising, onsite activation, and sports-related events for Globe Life. This dynamic individual ensures creative, event specific, attendee experiences. This position serves in a support role for all Sports Marketing and Travel & Event Marketing initiatives and requires flexible hours as demanded by each event and/or campaign.

What You Will Do:

Sports Marketing & Analysis:

  • Provide onsite Sports Marketing support at corporate events; some nights and weekends required
  • Generate Excel reports and assist with ad hoc analysis
  • Conduct data pulls for contest/ticket winners
  • Work on various departmental and cross-functional team projects

Event Management & Coordination:

  • Complete tasks as assigned, as it relates to the planning process of meetings and events.
  • Utilize Cvent software to manage programs and events
  • Work with outside vendors to coordinate service
  • Coordinate and attend site inspections as needed
  • Develop comprehensive program itineraries and working agendas outlining all specifications and requirements
  • Maintain accurate records, system input, and complete file management
  • Provide onsite meeting assistance and support

Relationship Management & Communication:

  • Partner with designated teams to communicate registration, logistics, and program status
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations
  • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to arrange services
  • Develop strong relationships with multiple contacts within company and supplier organizations
  • Evaluate program impact and plan for continuous improvement

What You Can Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Must have obtained at least Junior status in a Bachelor's degree program (Marketing, Sports Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (official transcript may be requested)
  • Prior event or hospitality experience preferred
  • U.S. citizen or legal resident

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Intermediate level required
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
