Position type: Full-time/ Contract Duration: 12 Months Location: New York/ DC Remote Client: Telecom As an Responsible Business Manager- Event Logistics you will: Position Responsibilities: Implement digital wellness retail and in-person workshop logistics within time and budget constraints. Lead event management driving the successful launch and execution of digital wellness workshops in Client’s retail locations and partner sites. Manage scheduling, logistics, and planning across a cross-functional team to drive towards successful launch of in-person events. Meet objectives in all stages of event planning, design, and production. Leverage event management tools (Smartsheet preferred) to align responsibilities and deliverables across multiple stakeholders. Manage master event project plans; develop timelines and schedules, identify resources and best practices, develop processes and procedures to successfully manage and track all events to ensure deliverables are met. Supervise site selection and essential suppliers for various meetings in coordination with Client’s retail leaders. Work closely with non-profit organizations, support seamless implementation of digital wellness curriculum during retail and other in-person workshops, and meet regularly to course correct event facilitation progress. Collaborate with non-profit organizations to determine appropriate structure for the workshop experience. Prepare holistic event overviews and other communication materials for internal and external teams. Adhere to PMO standards, methodologies and procedures. Provide subject matter expertise and support event logistics communication with members of various cross-functional teams including Retail, Experiential Marketing, PR, Employee Engagement, PMO, Finance, and Public Policy. Conduct site visits and direct planning meetings to monitor and enhance event facilitation and assess partner performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of experience working in an event management capacity, preferably within retail and/or non-profit partnerships, with key areas of expertise in technology-integrated programming. Exceptional knowledge of Smartsheet project management software; demonstrated ability to leverage Smartsheet platform to advance event deliverables and execute on retail and in-person workshop strategy. Excellent project management skills including planning, logistics and program management with ability to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage cross-functional workstreams. Proficient organizational, written/oral communications, Google Suite skills and other digital presentation skills needed. Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment managing multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously and independently while maintaining productivity. Ability to prioritize, problem solve, execute sound judgement and multitask effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with program managers, experiential marketing managers, retail and sales operations leadership, and external partners to manage the scope, requirements and implementation of retail and in-person workshop strategy. Team oriented, collaborative, and flexible. Ability to facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Personnel to be Hybrid and will be asked to go into a Client location in New York City or Washington, D.C. a minimum of eight (8) workdays per month at the discretion of Client supervisor.
