Bantam Communications is seeking a highly skilled Social Media Content Creator to join our team on an ongoing, hourly basis. This role is focused on producing and publishing high-quality, engaging content across multiple client accounts in the renewable energy sector.The ideal candidate is a versatile creator who can design visually compelling content (GIFs, videos, motion graphics, static images), write strong supporting copy, and manage recurring monthly deliverables with precision and creativity.Scope of Work & ServicesCreate 46 social media posts per client each month on a recurring basis for approximately 15 clients.Design static and motion graphics content using Canva and create advanced visual assets (GIFs, videos, etc.) as needed.Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy to accompany graphics.Upload, schedule, and organize content using HeyOrca for client review and publishing.Ensure all content is tailored to renewable energy.Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and tone across content.Collaborate with internal team members to refine creative direction and strategy.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, content formats, and creative best practices.Minimum QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in social media content creation or management.Demonstrated ability to produce GIFs, videos, motion, and static graphics.Proficiency in Canva for content creation.Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different client voices.Experience managing recurring content schedules for multiple clients simultaneously.Strong organizational and time management skills.Portfolio showcasing examples of social media posts and campaigns.Preferred QualificationsExperience with HeyOrca or similar scheduling tools.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).Experience creating content for industries such as renewable energy, issue advocacy, political, or rural-focused campaigns.Familiarity with paid social campaigns and audience engagement strategies.Strong reporting and analytical skills to assess performance metrics and adapt content based on high and low performance.This role is open to US-based independent contractors who are authorized to work in the United States.How to applyApplicants should submit a portfolio with examples of posts/content related to energy, advocacy, political, or rural industries, along with a resume highlighting relevant experience.Additional DetailsContract Type: Independent Contractor (1099)Location: Remote, USACompensation: $50$75/hour depending on experience (contract, recurring monthly work) About Bantam CommunicationsBantam is a specialized public affairs firm accelerating the deployment of advanced energy infrastructure across the United States.We partner with developers, investors, coalitions, and mission-aligned philanthropic and non-profit institutions to navigate complex permitting environments, mobilize community support, and shape the policy and narrative conditions necessary for deployment success.Our work is grounded in the belief that building advanced energy requires not only technological innovation and capital investment, but public trust, political alignment, and social license.
