Job Description

Manage field implementation of well completion and workover program. Supervise consultants and coordinate activity with completion engineers and production foreman. Environment is fast paced, with constantly changing priorities. This role will also include: Safety:
  • Know and adhere to the Minimum Frac Requirement Guidelines as set by EOG management and Safety Personnel,
  • Ensure all on-site personnel understand and adhere to these requirements,
  • Ensure the consultants promote and implement these requirements,
  • Promote a safe work environment by attending and holding occasional tailgate safety meetings,
  • Stay current on all training and attend monthly safety meetings,
  • Train new hires and all others to the best practices of safe operations.
Efficiency:
  • Monitor operations to recognize inefficient procedures and work with the vendors to improve as possible,
  • Monitor trends in failures and downtime and work to minimize,
  • Work closely with water transfer and sand to limit potential downtime.
Environmental:
  • Ensure locations are set up to minimize potential run-off by utilizing the topography and berms, dikes, and secondary containments,
  • Minimize leakage and spills by promoting a proactive culture,
  • Make sure all consultants know who to contact to control any incidents and how to report these incidents,
  • Follow up after moves to make sure locations are clean and free of equipment, chemicals, released rentals, and in good condition.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Must have 18+ years of oilfield experience, including 10 years in completions. Strong working knowledge of vertical and horizontal well completions, rigs, tools, snubbing operations and fishing operations. Must have the ability to communicate with engineers and supervise multiple operations. Must be a good team leader able to fully understand what is required by engineering and adequately convey same to field supervisors to achieve highly efficient, cost effective well completions. A strong safety record is required along with past supervisory experience. A high school diploma or GED is required. Good driving record required.
