Our client in Glenshaw PA is seeking a security tech to join the team

Duties:

Installation & Maintenance:

- Install J-hooks and pull cables per project specifications.
- Build and establish structured cabling pathways, including conduit and wall sleeves.
- Construct and organize closets, data racks, and patch panels.
- Perform cable terminations for Cat6, fiber optic (including fusion splicing), and high-pair copper backbone cables.
- Terminate and label faceplates and patch panels, ensuring clean and accurate connections.
- Conduct cable testing, labeling, and verification for performance and accuracy.
- Coordinate with project managers, electrical, HVAC, and other trades to maintain project alignment and safety compliance.

Customer Relations

- Maintain transparent, professional communication with clients and project stakeholders.
- Conduct end-of-day walk-throughs, ensuring the site is clean, organized, and safe.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in installing and terminating various types of cables including fiberoptic and copper is a plus!
- Strong understanding of cabling pathways, conduit installations, and data rack assemblies is a plus!
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with other trades.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
