Job Description Job Description Material Handler Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for the loading and unloading of heavy parts, utilizing sit-down forklifts to transport large metal parts across various sections of the production floor. You will also rig and secure large parts to trucks for shipment. Responsibilities Label parts for shipment. Inspect and package parts for shipment. Document inventory levels and shipments in the computer system. Essential Skills 2 years of experience with sit-down forklifts handling large parts. Experience in unloading, shipping, material handling, and rigging. Familiarity with overhead cranes and receiving processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2 years of experience with 10-20 ton overhead cranes is preferred. Willingness to learn if lacking specific experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is for the 2nd shift, operating from 2pm to 10pm in a large manufacturing environment. Steel-toed shoes and hearing protection are required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
