Order Management Specialist (ERP)

100% Remote

6 month contract

EST Hours required- 8 AM EST start time

What does a typical day look like for this person?

• Work EST hours - can sit remotely
• Will be responsible for following special order processes, allocating part numbers to orders, and working to get quotes from vendors
• Streamline processes for SP (special part) - they currently have short process in place that they follow, but they are going to be more in depth and need help there
• Work with their legacy systems (Great Plains) and work with their new systems (Salesforce and D365)
• Specifically support their account management and order management within Salesforce
• No ticketing system - they are currently trying to build more tools to be released for shipping
• Current process: It’s released from Salesforce and kicks to the ERP system to query dashboards – see specific status updates (“waiting for approval”), go to reports into orders, identify the part number and look over the inventory
• Volume wise for orders - a few hundred a day, (take 1-2 min per order)

Must Have skills (if they don’t have it and x amount of years doing it, then they will not entertain the candidate)

• Seasoned experience understanding the nuances of Salesforce and system integration
• Has strong aptitude to build and expand current system processes
• Experience with order fulfillment and inventory management
• Experience working with an ERP system

Nice to Have

• D365 Experience
• Experience working through an ERP go-live
• Development or coding experience would be great
