Role Overview
We're seeking a dynamic engineer who excels in ReactJS and specializes in web mapping/GIS technologies, with Full-Stack capabilities, strong REST API and JWT authentication experience, solid engineering practices (Git, Bash/CI-CD), and the ability to contribute to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and debugging efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Build interactive, high-performance front-end features using ReactJS (Hooks, Functional Components, Design frameworks).
Integrate mapping/GIS functionality using ESRI, Leaflet, Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar libraries.
Consume and integrate with RESTful APIs secured via JWT (e.g., MSAL), handling authentication flows and token management.
Apply ReactJS design best practices, UI component architecture, and ensure UX consistency.
Use Git for version control, work in IDEs, write Bash/Shell scripts, and participate in CI/CD workflows to deploy and maintain applications.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, participate in SRE processes, and support reliability efforts.
Required Qualifications
ReactJS expertise with strong knowledge of modern Javascript/TypeScript.
Proven experience with mapping/GIS libraries (Leaflet, ESRI, Google Maps, Mapbox, etc.) for interactive UI work.
Experience consuming REST APIs secured with JWT (e.g., MSAL or equivalent authentication flows).
Familiar with UI design patterns, component architecture, and front-end framework best practices.
Comfortable using Git, modern IDEs, and scripting in Bash/SH.
Practical exposure to CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and continuous deployment.
Ability to work in SRE/debugging processes, handling production issues and incident triage.
