Nurse Practitioner, Cardiology- Per Diem, Poughkeepsie, NY
The Heart Center is seeking a per diem board certified Nurse Practitioner to join its established and growing Cardiology Practice (Hudson Valley Cardiovascular Practice, PC). This inpatient position is based at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. This is an excellent employed opportunity at a large community hospital in a beautiful suburban NY location.
Job Highlights - Provide care for a high volume, fast paced inpatient Cardiology service in collaboration with an outstanding team of cardiologists
- Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.
- Provide coverage for urgent and emergent matters
- Performs daily patient rounds
- Perform consultations, admissions, and discharges
- Highly competitive per diem rate
Qualifications - NYS License and Board Certification
- Cardiology and/or critical care experience required
Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River, Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a brand new 696,000-square-foot, eight-level inpatient pavilion with 264 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region, including a Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology.
