The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites. The profile is intended for use by the GM&T US Membrane Manufacturing Operations department. The position must carry the following values: Work Shift: I - 600a-600p @ 1.50 (United States of America), Work Schedule: US 12 Hours Per Day Mon-Sun (United States of America), Pay Group: Bi-weekly Mon - Sun (United States of America). Air Liquide builds products that separate gases naturally present in the atmosphere and purifies them into oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and various rare gases. Our Membrane Manufacturing Group is searching for a Manufacturing Operator. This Operator will be working within our Production Operations Group on a 12-hour shift. The Operator will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities include setting up, operating and maintaining production equipment; following specifications, job orders, work instructions, recipes and procedures to produce specific products according to ISO 9001:2015 quality system; installing fixtures, tooling and other parts for production machine setup; aligning and adjusting machine settings; activating machinery and equipment; operating equipment in all areas of the plant; keeping machinery and equipment clean; recording product information; moving material to work area; inspecting product, setup and adjusting manufacturing equipment; supporting training or cross-training of operators; meeting or exceeding safety and environmental standards; complying with all company policies including safety, operating procedures, quality, attendance and proper on the job conduct. Required qualifications include High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, fluency in English, good hands-on mechanical ability, general knowledge of computer operation in an industrial environment, and being a self-starter. Preferred qualifications include Associates degree in Engineering Technology, experience in a manufacturing environment, and military technical training. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching and manipulating controls, performing work activities above ground level and with production chemicals, occasionally performing outdoor work, operating forklift and other material moving equipment, and performing job duties at all times of the day within plant operation. Schedule & Compensation Information: The hourly rate for this position in Delaware is $23.75. Schedule: 2, 3, 4 rotation schedule. Straight nights 6p-6a, 2 weekends a month.
