This position is 100% on-site position in Kansas City, KS. We are seeking an experienced IT Odoo Trainer to support our manufacturing team in effectively using the Odoo ERP platform. The trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for employees across multiple departments, ensuring they are proficient in Odoo modules relevant to their roles (such as Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, HR, and Accounting). This role bridges IT and operations, helping maximize system adoption, efficiency, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver hands-on training sessions on Odoo ERP modules for employees at all levels.
  
   
• Customize training materials (guides, videos, FAQs, etc.) tailored to different user groups within the manufacturing environment.
  
   
• Conduct group workshops, one-on-one coaching, and refresher courses as needed.
  
   
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and create role-specific Odoo learning paths.
  
   
• Provide ongoing user support and troubleshooting assistance related to Odoo functionality.
  
   
• Collect and analyze user feedback to improve training effectiveness and system adoption.
  
   
• Assist with system testing, updates, and new module rollouts to ensure smooth transitions.
  
   
• Stay updated on Odoo features and best practices, adapting training to system enhancements.

Requirements

Qualifications  

• Proven experience training end-users on Odoo ERP (manufacturing modules highly preferred).
  
   
• Strong understanding of ERP workflows in a manufacturing environment (inventory, BOM, work orders, production planning, etc.).
  
   
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to train non-technical users.
  
   
• Ability to create clear training documentation and user-friendly learning resources.
  
   
• Problem-solving mindset and patience when assisting employees with varying technical skill levels.
  
   

Preferred Skills

• Experience in change management and driving ERP adoption.
  
   
• Knowledge of Odoo customization, configuration, or administration.
  
   
• Previous IT training experience in a manufacturing company .
  
   

Working Conditions

• Full-time position, on-site at our manufacturing facility with occasional remote sessions.
  
   
• Training may involve multiple shifts to support all employee groups.
