PRT-Staffing is immediately hiring experienced Commercial/Industrial Electricians for a long-term project with a major contractor in the Columbus, OH area.
This is a specialized role focused on the complete electrical installation of new industrial coolers and freezers . We are looking for seasoned "mechanic" level electricians who can work independently and read blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, bend, and run conduit (EMT and Rigid).
- Pull wire and terminate power and control wiring for compressors, condensers, and evaporator fan units.
- Set and wire disconnects and motor controls.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
- Direct experience with refrigeration or cooler/freezer installations is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Must have your own professional hand tools, benders, and power tools (drills, etc.).
- A strong commitment to safety (OSHA 10 is a major plus).
