Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and cleaning air duct systems for residential homes and occasionally commercial properties. This position requires a strong work ethic, physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include performing thorough inspections of HVAC systems, cleaning ductwork using top of the line equipment, identifying issues, operating tools safely, communicating with customers, documenting work, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining vehicle and equipment. The role will involve driving company vehicles safely to each job site. You will be working inside customers homes, including on ladders, roofs, in attics and crawlspaces.
Requirements
Previous duct cleaning and/or HVAC maintenance/installation or service experience is required. Candidates should have the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, possess physical stamina for lifting up to 50 pounds, and demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The role requires punctuality and dependability. Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
Desirable qualifications
Desirable qualifications include NADCA ASCS certification or working towards it, familiarity with industry practices and regulations, and a basic understanding of HVAC systems. CDET certification is a plus or the ability to achieve certification.
