General/Float Custodian - District Wide

• Full-time position, 40 hours/week
• Schedule: 12 months, Monday-Friday
• Beginning hourly rate: $16.83, subject to experience
• Full Benefits included: Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, retirement
• Non-exempt

Summary: Keep the district's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc. in the building.
• Restocks disposable items and provides lead custodian with inventory usage and data.
• Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up need equipment
• The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: minor PM maintenance tasks (light bulb & ballast replacement, other minor repairs) of school buildings. There will be regular custodial tasks of cleaning, scrubbing, buffing and waxing.
