Coral Shores Behavioral Hospital is an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Stuart, FL, and provides inpatient treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our professional staff individualizes care to uniquely fit the intensity and severity of each patient case and their family's needs. Because crisis occurs at all times of the day and night, our services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Driver transport patients to and from various locations both local and long distance using company vehicles. All drivers work on a rotational schedule based on assignment. The ideal candidate will be motivated, work well with direct supervision, have ability to make decisions quickly, and be able to work well in a team environment.

We are looking for PRN staff with morning availability.   

Qualified applicants meet the following requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ten (3-5) years driving experience operating passenger car, van or bus.
• One (1) year experience in a patient field, preferred.
• Experience working with substance abuse or behavioral health patients, preferred.
• Current Florida Driver's License with: no more than 2 moving violations in the past 6 years; no more than 4 points on record; no reckless driving citations; no more than 1 accident on record for the past 5 years; no DUI or DWI violations.
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Regular and consistent attendance is an essential job function; reliable transportation is required. Company vehicles are used for patient transport.
