Clinical duties will include measuring and recording vital signs, collecting demographics or medical information including review of medication list, preparing patients for examination, cleaning rooms and equipment and stocking supplies. This position will involve the administration of medications. The Clinic LPN draws blood and perform waived testing on specimens. This position cares for patients with chronic illness in a rural setting. Job Requirements--LPN Education Required: Graduate of a state board-accredited practical nursing program Experience Required: None Preferred: Previous nursing experience, particularly in an outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversite. Experience Required: None Preferred: Previous experience in work that involved direct contact with people Preferred: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in an ambulatory clinic setting Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
