CNC Machinist Level III - Afternoons or Overnight at Flowserve

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Houston pump manufacturing team. This position is available for:

• Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Sunday to Thursday)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machinery for shaft machining.
• Follow established operational processes to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Utilize precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Collaborate on policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience, particularly in shaft machining.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and systems.
• Experience with manual lathes, mills, or CNC machines.
• High school diploma or GED with relevant experience.
