Hours: M-Thurs 6am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $30-$35

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restoration industry and construction, with expertise in various carpentry techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, including fixture installations, water damage restoration, and general carpentry tasks. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Build and install basic foundation forms.
• Shoot grade with a transit.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints.
• Perform carpentry work including framing, drywall installation, and finishing touches.
• Execute fixture installations with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
• Engage in caulking and plastering to ensure proper sealing and finishing of surfaces.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction painting and metal stud framing projects.
• Assess project requirements and provide recommendations for materials and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in carpentry.
• Proficient in shooting grade with a transit.
• Experience in building basic foundation forms.
• Ability to read basic blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
