Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Automatic Screw Machine Machinist to join their team. As an Automatic Screw Machine Machinist, you will be part of the Primary Department supporting skilled machine operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automatic Screw Machine Machinist

Location: Macon, MO

Pay Range: $20 per hour for 1st shift and $21 per hour for 2nd shift 

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate ACME/Davenport screw machines efficiently.
• Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Produce high-quality parts in accordance with QC tolerances and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with other machine operators and team members.
• Utilize blueprint reading skills to understand workpiece to print relationships.

What's Needed?

• Experience with multi-spindle machines, preferably ACME/Davenport.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications.
• Strong analytical skills to perform duties independently.
• Experience in machine set up, tooling, and quality control is preferred.
• Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
