Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling personal injury and habitability cases from intake through resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct depositions.
  • Communicate with clients to provide case updates and legal advice.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant law and legal precedents.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the California State Bar. (REQUIRED)
  • Strong interest in personal injury and tenant law.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting Salary: $80,000 - $115,000 DOE.
  • Year-End Bonus: The employee is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company, team, and individual performance.
  • Health Insurance: Employer pays 100% of healthcare insurance premiums after the completion of 90 days of employment.
  • Vacation: 5 days during the first year of employment, 10 days annually after completing one year of employment.
  • Sick Leave: 5 days of paid sick leave annually.
  • Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Post-Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
