Your Responsibilities - Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic assessments, and developing personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with healthcare colleagues or independently, depending on your credentials
- Providing education for patients and families regarding preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing treatments and medications as allowed within your practice authority
- Participating in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic illness management
- Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive, patient-centered care journey
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records within electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Qualifications Needed - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Required Credentials - Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Wisconsin
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
