Job Title: STAFF ACCOUNTANT - ENTRY LEVEL U.S. Bridge is growing! Due to our continued success, we are seeking a Staff Accountant in Cambridge, Ohio. SUMMARY & SCOPE: The Staff Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate processing and maintenance of financial and operational records and reports, incoming invoice processing, and developing and coordinating best-in-class processes for transactional functions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Job Order Entry - includes entering new jobs by reviewing the details of the order to ensure everything is entered into the accounting software accurately, and processing change orders as needed.
• Estimate Entry - includes entering the estimates accurately and timely for each new job into the accounting software.
• Invoice Processing - includes receiving and verifying invoices, matching invoices with purchase orders and receipts, and ensuring proper coding and approval.
• Payment Processing - includes preparing and processing vendor invoices and expense reimbursements timely as well as forecasting the upcoming payments.
• Works closely with other finance team members and assists with processing and effective management of other transactional activities as needed.
• Works with and supports other departments including, but not limited to Procurement, Operations, Project Management to assist on completion of daily tasks or projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of related experience
• Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments

• Work with accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office Programs
