Express has an exciting opportunity to get involved in the world of 3D Printing as a Manufacturing Technician! Our client is a provider of custom manufacturing services with a comprehensive suite of both additive and traditional manufacturing technologies. They specialize in additive manufacturing services for production grade parts across a variety of end markets (medical, electronics, consumer automotive, aerospace, defense, automation, and industrial). Seeking flexible and motivated self-starters who are open to learning!

• Hours: 1st shift hours (8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri).
• Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
• Our client offers cross-training and room for growth! There are different tiers of the Production Tech role that you can be promoted to, in addition to being able to move into other departments within their growing company.

Duties:

• Remove excess powder and support material from 3D printed parts using specialized tools and equipment
• Maintain machinery and ensure cleanliness of workspace
• Visual inspection of parts (checking for defects or inconsistencies post de-powdering)
• Responsible for completing a variety of different finishing processes depending on the product and client specifications (sanding, polishing, coating, etc).Maintain accurate production documentation
• Properly handle, package and store 3D printing materials in accordance with regulations
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to troubleshoot production related issues and optimize the design for 3D printing process
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, streamlining and waste reduction

Requirements:

• Background in manufacturing and/or distribution or technical schooling preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior background working with hand/power tools
• Computer Skills: experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills are required.
• Flexible work style: open to cross training and assisting in different departments
